PET - Positron Emission Tomography

• Radioactive Materials License Application Preparation
• Scintillation Camera and PET Acceptance Testing
• Scintillation Camera and PET ACR Accreditation Support including:
  • assistance in collection and evaluation of phantom images
  • establishment of the Technologist Quality Control Program with Action Levels
  • review of the ongoing status of the Technologist Quality Control Program
  • execution of the annual scintillation camera performance evaluations in compliance with ACR specifications.
• Initial Hot Lab set up and records keeping organization for regulatory compliance
• Quarterly Consultative Visit for general regulatory support including:
  • dose calibrator linearity testing by attenuation
  • dose calibrator accuracy testing
  • dose calibrator geometry testing (as needed)
  • leak test and inventory of sealed sources
  • pick of survey meters needing calibration
  • Member of Public Dose study (annually)
  • review of QC records and discuss with technologist status of QC program.
