MRI- Magnetic Resonance Imaging

• ACR Accreditation Support including:
  • assistance in collection and evaluation of phantom images prior to submission
  • establishment of the Technologist QC Program with Action Levels
  • review of the ongoing status of the Technologist QC Program
  • execution of the annual Medical Physics Performance Evaluation of the MRI program in accordance with ACR specifications as it is now being required for renewal of accreditation.
• Acceptance Testing

Ultrasound

• ACR Accreditation Support including semiannual ultrasound unit performance evaluation in accordance with ACR specifications
• Acceptance Testing

Mammography

• ACR Accreditation Support including:
  •  establishment of the Technologist QC Program
  •  execution of the annual Medical Physics performance evaluation of the Mammography program in accordance with ACR & MQSA specifications.
• Technologist Quality Control documentation is reviewed quarterly in compliance with Florida regulations.
• RSI  currently supports all available digital mammography equipment in accordance with ACR and MQSA specifications

CR - Computed Radiography

• Radiation Services, Inc. can assist your facility in evaluating the performance of your CR system and assist in the establishment of proper routine QC testing of your CR
• Evaluation is performed in accordance with specifications contained in AAPM Task Group 10 Report including tests on:
  •  dark noise
  •  uniformity
  •  exposure indicator
  •  linearity/autoranging
  •  laser beam function
  •  plate limiting resolution & resolution uniformity
  •  noise & low contrast resolution
  •  spatial accuracy
  •  erasure thoroughness
  •  aliasing/grid response
  • and throughput.
